What To Expect?
Tattoo removal:
During laser treatment, your skin will turn a frosty white colour called frosting. This is caused by the carbon dioxide being released as a result of laser penetration and surfaces on the upper layer of the skin, which resembles a white frosting. A few hours after treatment your skin may begin to peel and blister which usually takes 3 – 14 days to disappear. These side effects are completely normal and expected as your body is quickly trying to heal itself, shedding the damaged outermost layer of skin. Some people may experience very light bleeding as well.
Stretch Mark removal:
You may feel some heat and tingling sensations, but the treatment is generally painless and well-tolerated. The session may last from 15 to 45 minutes, depending on the area being treated. After the treatment, you may experience some redness, swelling, or bruising, which should subside within a few days. You should avoid sun exposure, hot showers, and strenuous activities for at least 24 hours after the treatment. You should also moisturize your skin regularly and follow the aftercare instructions provided by your laser technician.
How many treatments will you need?
Tattoo removal:
Amount of sessions differs, depending on the age of the tattoo and the color and quality of the ink. Usually between 3 to 6 sessions is required, fresh and touched up Tattoos may take up to 10 sessions.
Stretch Mark removal:
Generally, 3 to 5 sessions are needed, spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart, to achieve optimal results . However, some patients may need more or fewer sessions depending on their individual response to the treatment
